In support of refugee art students from Ukraine
Cynthia reads Sontag
In support of Ukrainian refugee art students at the Vilnius Academy of Arts in Lithuania, Cynthia reads Susan Sontag's essay Regarding the pain of others, at Kunstnernes Hus May 15th, at 13.00.
The raised funds will be used to award scholarships, offer accommodation, and cover any other expenses in relation to the Ukrainian refugee students.
Due to the terrible and meaningless war, Ukrainian students are forced to leave their studies and homes in Ukraine. Ukrainian art and design students apply to Vilnius Academy of Arts in Lithuania order to continue with their studies in a safe place. The Vilnius Academy of Arts do not have the resources needed to cover the Ukrainian students basic needs and are now reaching out for support from their educational, business and social partners as well as the Academy community. Vilnius Academy of Arts has opened a fundraising account.
We would appreciate it if you could contribute to support the refugee students from Ukraine and circulate this message to friends and fellows.
Wishes for peace and better times
Kind regard from us at the Theater Academy at Oslo National Academy of the Arts -
